Good point a cross but as for my opinion on this filler arc I'd say 50/50 where it has good points and bad points. Cause now it's getting exciting.
i didnt watch this ep but i totally get you 🤣
A lot of people died and some people changed also that water sea animation looks beautiful and that sunset is so good
Fair enough I just find it fine
It's not filler, again. Just because it's not manga canon doesn't mean it's not anime canon.
Lmao are you serious? I bet you’re 10 , filler episodes are canon filler is story in between the main storyline smh
ye just like how sarada learnt chidori from sasuke they showed that in the anime not all filler episodes are pure filler hes not wrong bro and what being 10 gotta do with this? pulling the age card outa air no cap
he is right though, the studio already confirmed everything in the anime is canon like Deepa is canon to the manga so is kawaki and himawari spending time together etc. Manga are made straight to the point and doesnt usually have time for side development especially monthly series like boruto
you still showed your narutard side while praising the episode
Ikada is getting all the pressure to fight but ikada doesn't want that he just wanna make a boat man
The animation of that sea is so good looking to watch and that sunrise and ikada is standing looks so cool
the funato women are hot
What's with this filler arc they keep killing characters even though it's just a filler first is the kagura, then hebiichigo, then funamushi, and the soldier people that died during the battle
A filler can make small or a bit of progress for the main storyline and even Kagura wasn't even mentioned in the manga so I think it's also logical that he gets killed in the filler arc.
Kagura was mentioned in the manga
I mean, sorry, my bad, I mean he was "only mentioned" in manga but was never shown and whenever there's an incident happening with kagura, it's in the filler so that means it won't affect the main story at all. But I was kinda disappointed he ended that way.
Fuck you mean dissapointed the way he died? He literally died in the town which was where he grew up with the people he loved and accepted him where no one else did, protecting them to the very end and kept his promise of no one getting killed while taking down the threat and allowing the people he had to imprison change for the better and become the best versions of himself. I dont think they could have done it better.
What I'm only saying is that he doesn't seem to be canon at all since he was only mentioned in the manga but was never shown in manga. I never said I was disappointed that he sacrificed himself for his loved ones lol. The way u understood it didn't connect to my message. I liked the way he sacrificed himself for them and it was a good plot but at the same time it was a sad story to others who would hear or see it the way the story ended for him. Did I make it clear now?
Edit: I wasn't supposed to put disappointed about the way he died there, but instead, it's because he died but sorry I didn't fix my little vocabulary.🙃
It’s just an arc of boruto and friends on a mission
KILL BORUTO NOW
foreshadowing
Same thing I was thinking, but unfortunately Boruto has plot armor. The show has his name on it. Unless they decide to change the name to Kawaki: Next Generation we stuck with Boruto...
The ikada we know that loves making boat is now gone he stand in that rock while it's still sunrise then jump and swim and now he's reborn to evil serious ikada
He was like boruto but now he has pretty much become Kawaki and finally Isari wants to deal with the hidden mist peacefully contradicting Ikada and Araaumi.
Looks like Boruto just did something horribly wrong
No surprise there. After all actions have consequences
Yeah but the Funato started all of that in the first place all of their deaths are on them ,boruto and the others we’re trying to stop them whatever it takes from doing what atrocities they’re about to do
Why do you talk as if it's Boruto fault tho. Funato purges life and money from countless of innocent people and you expect Boruto and Mist village to keep quiet about it? No matter what you see Boruto and Mist did nothing wrong. They just want to stop these bandits.
It's not Boruto's fault it is Funato's fault to begin with and I wasn't being specific which I should have put it for both parties have done actions that causes consequence's
When have i say "it's Boruto's fault"?
They can't be heavy - this is a filler story ark, so we know for sure that the main cast will be fine until the plot get back to the main line.
It's strongly devaluates the possible unpredictiness of plot - this story from the start can only end with the Funato defeat (cuz Mizukage and Kirigakure are doing good in the manga story line, while Funato doesn't exists at all).
My prediction that in the end Ikada kid swallow the tears ("revenge are wrong - lazy writer plot rule that it is true when the revenge is directed against the main cast which defended by the impenetrable plot armor but fine when the revenge are done by the main cast") and became new leader of Funato, after Isari and Araumi will be killed some way or another due to disagreement on peace deal.
Then Ikada will somehow build an happy end where they will the coexist with the land of water, where all grievances will be with Kirigakure will be forgotten - because Funato can't win (due to simply non-existing in the source manga, while their opponents are presend and fine) and their full extermination look bad for "good guys".
That is true and good prediction which I'm thinking about the same as you
Araumi and Ikada might try a full blown attack on hidden mist and now that Isari has finally come to his senses. He might try stopping this unwanted violence and in the process gets killed by Ikada himself. This might snap Ikada out of his thrist for vengence and the arc might end with Funato either surrendering or Ikada proposing a peace treaty with the mist village after killing his own father while trying to protect Boruto.
It will be too weird to make yesterday's weakling Ikada to suddenly became powerful enough to take on his really strong father.
Against surrendering - it against the current emotional tone of Funato's portrayal as a people with a lot of bad history with Land of Water. After the last to episodes it will be too weird is their personnel just quietly accept surrender and subjugation by the Land of Water. Peace treaty seems to be what writing team are aiming for, where Boruto as a star of the show in the end will take down Funato leader along with Ikada, who will became the next leader and proclaim sugar-sweet peace where everyone just forget their issues with the opposing side.
All in all, I think anime team raised bar too high for a filler ark (where MC's cannot be hurt and their opposing side are absent from manga), so in the end it will fall short.
Ikada never showed his true power in the 1st place until this ep so we didn't know Ikada wasn't such a weakling as we thought.
Ikada was never weak, he just didn’t accept his responsibility as a member of the Funato clan and hence didn’t embrace his true strength until now.
That is making these filler drag on to much. Lol
you are literally have a rainbow over an anime character, only thing dragging is your stepdad's saggy balls on your face.
What did he do wrong? From what i see they are just trying to stop this band of bandits who purges life and money from countless of innocent people. Look at all those technologies and properties, i bet those were stolen also.
family of idiots (mostly)
older brother seems like he has a brain
Yep, he is the exception
you two beat me to it. The whole family, and Boruto, are cringe lords, but harpoon guy actually seems to be doing the logical thing that should have happened long ago.
...Akkun <3 Q_Q
That kid gets a tattoo after seeing his dad died he wanted a tattoo just like his dad
That was really fast sad backstory of that old man and his wife turning into ice crystal and said protect ikada he will change the future aight I'm out. They should have just use a fire to melt that ice lol
They are clan from the sea, you don't expect them to pull off a uchia fire ball jutsu do you? Considering it is boat and its day time they didn't have fire lit as it could burn their own ship.
just use some wood and a lighter for cigarettes to make a fire dude they even got trains now they are sure to have some lighter dont they? even Asuma had one cant be too hard finding that item
Someone had a jutsu that can cut or smash things and even killed Hebiichigo but couldn't use it to save at least some or few of their frozen comrades lol, but overall, this is interesting to watch.
The animation and story of this episode was really awesome
That was a whole lot of character development
This is one of the best fillers in boruto
But you know what makes this episode really awesome
Absence of boruto
🤣🤣
